Art Reflections Contest

Earlier this year, Karinna entered a school district wide art contest. Students were asked to render their thoughts on the theme topic "A Different Kind of Hero." Karinna decided to write a short story, complete with illustrations. The story was about a little girl who was lonely because she had no friends. A little boy decided to befriend her and thus became her hero. Her story was awarded 2nd place in the K-2 bracket. Karinna is standing next to the story book on exhibit at her school.
