Don't Mess with My Sister
We often wonder how close Jeremy and Karinna will be later in life. Fortunately, the age difference does not prevent them from playing and enjoying each other's company.
The other day Jeremy's loyalties were put to the test at pre-school. When Teresa brought along Karinna to pick Jeremy up, Karinna ran over and gave him a big hug. Jeremy's best friend was playing with him at the time and became jealous, or at least annoyed that Karinna interrupted their playing. So he pushed Karinna away. Jeremy became very upset and started yelling at this good friend, "You don't push my sister! I don't like you anymore. You're not my friend!" While we were embarrassed that Jeremy resorted to such inflammatory rhetoric, we had to admit that it is reassuring when you see your kids stand up for each other.
