Jeremy Makes the Cut (at Disneyland)

For quite a while, we've had to exclude Jeremy on certain Disneyland rides because he did not meet minimum height requirements. That meant our family would split up for rides on Splash Mountain, Star Tours, Soaring over California, etc. (The parent pass came in very handy...) We explained to Jeremy that these were "too scary" for him, but he still resented being left out -- especially when seeing Karinna's enthusiasm for these rides.

Well, this is no longer an issue. As of today, Jeremy officially passed the 40" height requirement. It was a good thing too as we were spending the day with Ryan, Rachel and their parents. Jeremy has his pride -- he would not have taken it too well to be the only one restricted to the kiddie rides in Fantasyland. We celebrated this rite of passage with his first ride on Star Tours. He LOVED it.
