Labor of Love

This past year, we've really been blessed with the support of friends and family. Specifically, it's been really important for Ye-ye to visit regularly with the grandchildren. Instrumental to this has been the generosity of Walter and So-Lee, close friends of the family. Walter is the ranking faculty representative from UC Santa Barbara to the UC system's faculty government -- so he travels up and down the coast a lot. He regularly offers to take Ye-ye on the 5 hour drive between Santa Barbara and the Bay Area. Karinna and Jeremy have become quite familiar with Walter and his wife. The kids know that when they visit, they bring Ye-ye.
